My focus
We go through every skill one by one. I tell you where you stand on each of them and what to change.
Since standards v10, the former Fundamentals has been split into three courses: Performance Diver, Basic Fundamentals and Technical Fundamentals. All three work on buoyancy, trim, balance, propulsion and team diving, each with a different goal.

Performance Diver: for divers with a first certification (OWD or similar) who want to consolidate their core skills, whether or not they plan to go technical. Two days, four dives. Diving with nitrox is part of it.
Basic Fundamentals: the way into further GUE training, such as the primers. You get to know GUE’s configuration and way of working and build a solid set of skills. The course runs in a single tank or doubles, and in a drysuit if you have experience in one.

Technical Fundamentals: for experienced divers aiming for further courses in technical, rebreather or cave diving. Prerequisites include a certification to 30 metres, 75 non-training dives and 25 dives in doubles.
