My focus
Theory happens in conversation, not on a screen. We work through gas planning and failure scenarios together before you put them into practice in the water.
Intro to Tech is the step into technical diving for certified divers, strictly without decompression. You work on dive planning, buoyancy, trim and balance, finning, gas planning and emergency procedures in a technical configuration. I teach the course in sidemount and set up your kit with you.
Format: 3 days with me. The standard requires at least 3 dives, no deeper than 23 m, and at least 6 hours of classroom and briefings.
Combination: taught together with TDI Advanced Nitrox, the standard requires 4 dives for both courses. Decompression Procedures is the next step.
Prerequisites: SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent, 25 logged open water dives, minimum age 18 (15 with parental consent).
